We have built strong relationships with industry Partners such as Tourist Boards, Airlines, Hotels, Venues, DMCs and other Corporate Organisations to obtain their respect and collaboration.

Rakesh Joomuck has had 22 years of experience and comes with a wealth of expertise in the tourism industry before launching Pearl Representation Ltd in 2014. He was responsible for working closely in both the MICE and FIT markets and succeeded in creating strong brand awareness in his previous roles. Rakesh has managed to build a very good reputation within the industry; he is a self-motivated, passionate team-player with a proven track record of converting business.

As of March 2015, Chris Meer joined PRL as Account Manager due to the rapid growth and successful first year of the Company. Chris comes with 9 years of experience in the industry having worked for American Express M&I and Intel prior.

As from 01st of February 2018, Wayne Redman joined Pearl Representation as its Global Commercial Director with the aim to grow and to service its DMC Partners and Clients. Wayne has an established career across the leisure, corporate and MICE market, with over 20 years of expertise. His first appointment was working in his home town of Cape Town as a key member of an inbound DMC, where he gained a valuable insight into initiating global conferences and incentives across Southern Africa for the UK, European and US markets.

Moving to London he embarked on a number of high-level positions within the airline industry. In 2007 he joined South African Airways as a leisure and corporate account manager, organising prestigious events for the UK and South Africa including the British and Irish Lions Tour in 2009, and the FIFA World Cup in 2010.

Wayne went to Etihad Airways in 2012 as their commercial MICE Manager, overseeing the development of the airline’s MICE strategy and Group product, driving and expanding their MICE sector. As a direct consequence, he’s helped strengthen Abu Dhabi as a global destination of choice for MICE. In 2015 The Viceroy Hotel Group approached Wayne to join them as their Director for Groups and Incentive Sales, managing the UK & European market. This key role provided Wayne the opportunity to expand his expertise into the hotel sector, forging strong relationships throughout the industry.
